Hennie’s Rest is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River overlooking the Kruger National Park a mere 5 km from Malelane Gate, the famous Leopard Creek as well as the Malelane Golf course and 45 km from Komatipoort Golf Course and famous Sophie’s Bistro. We are 50 km from Mozambique, 40 km from Swaziland and 5 km from sport facilities like golf, tennis, squash, bowls, rugby and a gym. All are available for day visitors.
This spacious self-catering house has three bedrooms, a living and dining room, own kitchen and patio, all fitted with air-conditioning. Bedroom 1 has a double bed with river view. Bedroom 2 has a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a balcony and river view. Bedroom 3 has a queen-size and a single bed. The house can accommodate up to seven people.
To virtually be on the river with drink in hand, steak sizzling on the fire, whether game spotting, bird watching or simply enjoying an awesome African sunset is a truly memorable experience. Look out for the leopard that makes his appearance every now then, and elephant sometimes drink from the swimming pool. Alternatively laze in the pool or bask in the Malelane sun while observing crocodile and hippo in the river below, listening to the Fish Eagle’s call in the distance.
